About US
Since the beginning, ironworkers are boomers. We chased work from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Hoover Dam, to the Empire State Building. This tradition continues today. We travel to build new skyscrapers, bridges, and chip plants- we go where the work is.
The Mission of Local 845 is to provide ALL Ironworkers with the best possible pay, benefits, and working conditions. Local 845 is committed to maintaining a solid active membership that provides the best Ironworkers to construct the biggest mega-projects throughout the country. Our members will lead the Ironworkers trade into a strong and thriving future for generations to come.
Iron Workers Union Local 845 is a mixed local made up of a diverse membership and specialty skill sets. We are certified welders, qualified riggers, structural iron workers, reinforcing iron workers, tower climbers, and industrial maintenance workers. Our trade installs renewable energy sources like solar and wind turbines. We install glass and curtain walls, and erect metal buildings. Local 845 represents all sectors of the ironworker industry.
